Welcome to Betttr! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our social prediction market application ("App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

  1. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

  1. User Accounts

Users do not create separate accounts within Betttr. Instead, they use their Farcaster profile and associated wallet within Farcaster to access and interact with the App.

  1. Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found below. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

  1. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent activities, including but not limited to:

  • Engaging in market manipulation, collusion, or unfair trading practices.

  • Exploiting vulnerabilities in the App.

  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect any misconduct.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of Betttr or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  1. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Betttr shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Betttr, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

  1. Betttr-Specific Terms

10.1 Farcaster Integration

Betttr is a Frame V2 within Farcaster and is not accessible outside of Farcaster. Users interact with the App exclusively through their Farcaster profile and associated wallet.

10.2 Non-Custodial Nature

Betttr is a non-custodial platform, meaning all transactions occur via smart contracts and require user confirmation. We do not hold or manage user funds, and you are solely responsible for your transactions.

10.3 Azuro Protocol Integration

Betttr leverages the Azuro Protocol as the prediction layer. Betttr does not provide the infrastructure for users to place bets or predictions. Instead, all betting and prediction transactions occur via the Azuro Protocol's decentralized infrastructure. Users acknowledge that Betttr merely serves as an interface to access these markets and assumes no responsibility for the execution, settlement, or outcome of any transactions.

10.4 Market Participation

Users place predictions on various markets using their own funds.

Betttr does not guarantee any financial returns.

Users must review and confirm their transactions before executing them.
